Howdy Folks!

As we already let you know, we played last Sunday at the Einstein-Marathon in Ulm right on the runners' course. The whole event was just fantastic, and it was really a great gig. We had a fantastic time encouraging the athletes, who in turn kept us pumped up.

With the gig, we've also been entered in a band contest from RADIO-7. This is where we need your support.

In case you hadn't noticed it, the web elves have been hard at work, and They've added a new feature to our website. When you go look at the Live page, you'll see a box for Map24.de that you can type in your address, and get routing directions direct to the next RACK gig. Now, just how cool is that?

Howdy folks,

Another new gig just fell out the sky! The fine folks organizing the Einstein Marathon in Ulm have selected us to be one of the bands playing during the day. It's as much a festival as it is a runner's event, so everybody should come down show their support for the athletes and the musicians!

As a special added bonus, our very own Ralf, after finishing the set, is off to run in the 10km race. We know you'll want to support him in that, too! Not only is a gifted singer, he's a talented athlete.

You just can't keep a good band down! Two new gigs fell in our laps, and being the play-happy gents we are, we gladly said, "YES!" We hope to see you there!

Three gigs in two weekends, and one to go!

Come join us on Sunday for our last planned show before we take a bit of a break this Fall to do some writing and recording. We'll be playing near the Schloss in Aulendorf as part of the Aulendorfer Stadtfest on
Sunday Evening. Opening up the show will be Aulendorf's own Thinkless.

As far as the last three shows, we had a great time in Cafe Turm inKonstanz and Franziskaner in Bad Saulgau, and at a private birthday party. We've just put together an acoustic program of some of our favorite songs, and acoustic versions of some RACK songs, and we've been very pleased with the response! In addition to writing new tunes, we're going to try and work more material into the acoustic set--it's just too much fun!

In case you haven't noticed, RACK's fist video Skin as had over 1000 downloads over at Soundclick.com. That combined with the Myspace views and the YouTube views brings us to a total of about 1600 views in a little over two months!
Now, that's cool. And remember, if you like it, share it!

Wow, funny how time flies. Since we last posted here, we had two killer gigs, one in Esperanza, and one in Guggloch. Guggloch was really the bomb! A great crowd, and a super party atmosphere. Thanks to you all, and we're looking forward to seeing more of you, and more of each of you soon!
A big UDAMAN and Thank You to Florian for being able to jump in so quickly and fill in for Yann behind the drumset.
We've got a little bit of a well earned break before the next series of gigs, which we'll be using to prepare new material, pre-production for going into the studio in the Fall to record a full-lentgth CD, and a very special surprise!
A big very special Thank You to Dan's Distillery for jumping in and helping us rock Gugglock.

Thanks to an all-nighter, we finished the video sooner than we thought.  The first *real* video from RACK is on-line! Go to "Extras" and have a look! And as promised, at the end of next week, you'll be able watch it, with interview, on Szene TV on Euro3. Of course, we'll let you know the exact times.

Okay, now we can let the cat out of the bag. RACK is coming to a
television near you! If everything goes according to plan, starting at
the end of next week, for fourteen days(!), a special interview with
RACK can be seen on Szene TV on Euro3.  What's there to be seen? An
inteview and, of course, our first video: "Skin"! Tomorrow is the last
day of shooting, then it's off to the editing room, and at the end of
next week it'll be on TV. That just rocks!

We hope that you found all your Easter eggs, and had a couple of days to rest up for the hard summer ahead. Because....while you were resting in the wonderful April sun, letting the sun's rays bounce off your winter white skin, we've been hard at work fighting the good fight! If you think that musicians are afraid of hard work, you've got another thing coming. :-) On Easter Saturday, we played an great gig in Kulturladen in Konstanz. Unfortunately, we didn't get enough votes to make it to the final round for the Open See Festival, but we were able to rock the fans from the other three band, and that's what's really important for us.
Thanks to all those who attended!  We really enjoyed playing with the other bands, making new friends, and hanging out with old friends.

Unfortunately, sometimes there's also bad news...Fabian has decided to 
leave RACK, but under the best of circumstances. We wish him and his
band "End of Summer" success, and hope that he continues to drop by the
practice room or one of our shows. Good luck and best wishes, Fabian!

It´s done! We finally managed to bring up a slideshow of our Benefit X-Mas show in Immenstaad! Go to "goodies" and check it out! We promise to keep the pics mor up to date from now on :o)

The video is alomst finished, we have our last shooting after easter holiday - after the cutting it´s for download here.... or... just wait and see ;o)

We had a great end-of-the-year show in the Winzerkeller in Immenstaad! We had a lot of fun, and we want to thank Patrick from Scheinwelt and Markus and the whole Timmi's team for the warm hospitality and for doing all of the orgainizational dirty work.  We hope that the donation for the Immenstaad Red Cross turns out to be huge! We've also put a new Live-Video under "Goodies" for you to download.

We're really got the wind at our backs now! Wir working like madmen in the studio so that our new demo will finished in the next few weeks. It'll be four new bitchin' songs, and of course you'll be able to download them for free right here.

Man oh man! We had a killer gig on Saturday! We want to thank you who got to see us, because you were really a great audience! We also  want to thank  "The Bite" for giving us the opening slot.  They really put on a great show! We've put some Live Videos up under "Goodies" for download.  The videos are "Headphones (STFU)" and "Skin" live in Cafe Turm.  The stage was roughly the size of  a postage stamp, so don't expect too much hopping around.  The sound is directly from the camera so you can get an impression of what we sound like live.

Our next show is on Friday Dec 1, 2006 in Cafe turm in Constance.  This time we'll get the chance to rock the crowd for The Bite. There's no doubt that the party is going to ROCK!

We got a new show all of a sudden!  On Nov 15, 2006 we'll be in Esperanza in Meersburg. We're pleased that TWO will be able to play with us again with such short notice. We had a good gig in Franziskaner - a real groovy bar. When you're in the neighborhood, be sure to drop on by.  TWO really put on a great show before us, and it's really great that we able to play with them so often.

We've got a new gig all of a sudden.  On Thursday, Oct 26, 2006 in Franziskaner in Bad Saulgau with TWO as the opener.
 

The gig in Turmcafe was really great!  The crowd was really good and TWO really what's what and who's who.  We hope that we'll get another chance to play with them.

Finally.  Under "Goodies" you'll find our first demo songs.  The guitar on those tracks is Evelyn.  The new demo, with Michael, are already  well on their way to being done.   Drop back on by, we'll try to always give you something good here to discover.

RACK rocks again! On July, 21, 2006, we'll be the opener for The Bite in Cafe Turm in Constance
